What can I make out of an old down comforter king size?

I paid a fortune for this comforter years ago. I now bought a new one because the feathers disappeared “somehow” from the top squares. It was so expensive that I do not want to through it out. If I cut it down for a cough throw I would have feathers all over the place. I would give it to someone, but no one would want it. I am into crafts and have not come across anything like this. I need some suggestions as to what I do with it. Remember, king size.

give it a good ol shake..the feathers should return….failing that double stitch seams,either alongthe empty squares so you reduce the size and hem.
or sew your size and shape first then cut down to size, outside the stiches .if you stitch sections (therfore trapping feathers in sections)you can make pillows, cushions, throws, picnic rug pet beds chair covers….. or shake them all to the bottom and make a bean bag!
Try washing it. It may return to normal. Or make down pillows.
